Bentour Reisen is a medium-sized tour operator and owner-managed tourism company with headquarters in Zurich (Bentour Reisen AG) as well as a 100% subsidiary in Germany for the EU (Bentour Reisen GmbH) and an agency in Turkey .

Bentour Reisen was founded in 2004 by Kadir Ugur, who at that time could already look back on a long career in tourism - among other things as owner and managing director of the tour operator ATT, which was founded in 1983. His son Deniz Ugur has been managing director of Bentour Reisen since 2017 .

In addition to the Ugur family, the Turkish hotel chains Delphin Hotels and Stone Group are shareholders of Bentour Reisen.

The medium-sized tourism company was founded as a special tour operator for trips to Turkey. With over 5000 hotels, Bentour Reisen offers its customers an extensive selection of holiday complexes in a wide variety of holiday destinations and a selection of flight partners.

In the 2018/2019 financial year , a total of 170,000 passengers traveled with Bentour Reisen. The organizer's total turnover in this financial year was 111 million euros. Around 50,000 of the total of 170,000 passengers traveled to holiday regions outside of the core destination of Turkey.

Bentour Reisen's main distribution partners are travel agencies . Bentour is a member of the German Travel Association (DRV), the Swiss Travel Association (SRV) and the Austrian Travel Association (ÖRV).
