Benzelius
Benzelius is the name of a Swedish family of theologians who are of the greatest importance in the history of the Church of Sweden . It goes back to the farmer's son Erik Benzelius (1632-1709), who took the name because of his birthplace Bensby while studying in Uppsala. He later became archbishop, as did three of his sons. Three other sons were ennobled in 1719 and have been called Benzelstierna since then .
