Beka Adamashvili

Beka Adamashvili ( Georgian ბექა ადამაშვილი * 1990 in Tbilisi ) is a Georgian writer and blogger .

Life and work

Adamaschwili studied journalism and social sciences at the private Caucasus University in Tbilisi from 2007 . Between 2009 and 2013 he was active as a satirical and humorous blogger. With his short story XXVIII: Endepunkt , he won first prize in 2013 at the student literary competition “Herbstlegende”. Adamashvili's parodistic metafictional debut novel Bestseller was shortlisted for the Georgian literary prizes SABA and Tsinandali in 2014 . His second novel In This Book Everyone Dies was awarded the European Union Literature Prize in 2019 .

Adamashvili worked as a screenwriter for the political satirical show "Daily Pills by Vasiko Odishvili" and is the creative director of the Georgian advertising agency Leavingstone.
