Calculation engineer

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The term calculation engineer includes all engineers and natural scientists who carry out simulation calculations. Calculation engineers model, calculate and analyze technical-physical systems , including subsystems and natural systems such as B. climate or weather can be understood using analytical and / or numerical methods.

Based on the data obtained, they then evaluate the real systems, e.g. B. the load capacity of constructions. Such virtual examinations can optimize the quality, expenditure of time and costs of practical measurements and their evaluations as well as the result of a development.

Calculation engineers work in almost all branches of industry, e.g. B. in the automotive industry , in mechanical engineering or at food manufacturers. In order to be able to carry out this activity, a completed engineering degree in a field corresponding to the branch is usually required.
