The adjusted official collection of the school regulations NRW (BASS) contains all regulations applicable to the school system in North Rhine-Westphalia . These include the School Act for the State of North Rhine-Westphalia , the ordinances issued on this basis, the training and examination regulations, the administrative regulations (decrees) issued by the Ministry for Schools and Further Education of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia , as well as laws and ordinances on teacher training.

The BASS appears once a year as a supplement to the monthly “Schule NRW” gazette and bears the ISSN  0938-9288 . The publisher is the Ritterbach publishing house.
