Overview map Baumannsgraben

The nature trail is a 10 km long hiking trail that starts at the roundabout in the Schwarzenberg district of Heide . The course is shown on a board. The route runs through forests and meadows along the former artificial ditch. Along the Erzstraße, at the medical center on the right and past a playground on the left, the path leads past stone walls to the edge of the forest. Here the nature trail follows the middle path on the right. Along the edge of the forest it goes to the Dreitannenweg. The educational trail leads along the Dreitannenweg, past the Silberkammer treasure trove to Morgenleithenweg. At the former junction of the older and new artificial moat, you pass the Freudigervergleich treasure trove. At station 11 you should leave the forest path and carefully explore the rock group below. The remains of the stone pillars can still be seen. Unfortunately, the flood channels reconstructed in the 1990s have been destroyed. The nature trail ends at station 12. Here the artificial moat branched off from the Halsbach.
