Bergholländer Waldfeucht-Haaren

Bergholländer are Dutch windmills found in large areas of Germany , which are built on an embankment two to three meters high. The wings can be reached from the ground for maintenance purposes. The wing tracking is, as with the Erdholländer , different. A classic example of a mountain Dutchman is the mill in the Haaren district of Waldfeuchter , which can also be visited.
