Bernard Weber (* 1963 in Geneva ) is a Swiss filmmaker and film producer .

biography

Bernard Weber studied at the Haute École d'art et de design Genève (then ESAV; now HEAD). For his diploma film, he received a Prime de fin d'études from the University of Geneva.

After graduating, Bernard Weber made his own films and worked as an assistant, including for the insect saga Microcosmos and Trois Couleurs: Rouge by Krzysztof Kieslowski . He has been a freelance filmmaker since 1991.

Weber has been a member of the Advisory Board of the Cineinstitute in Jacmel , Haiti, since 2010 . He works as a guest lecturer for this film school.

Bernard Weber lives in Zurich and produces documentaries with his production company Artisan Films GmbH.
