Bernd Brugger

Bernd Brugger (born March 25, 1953 in Schwaz ) is an Austrian mechanical engineer and politician ( FPÖ ). Brugger was a member of the National Council between 2000 and 2002 .

education and profession

Bernd Brugger attended elementary school from 1959 to 1963 and secondary school in Mayrhofen from 1963 to 1967. In 1967, Brugger moved to the Higher Technical College for Mechanical Engineering in Fulpmes and graduated in 1972 with the Matura. Brugger worked as a machine fitter and lathe operator from 1972 to 1978 and completed his training as a sales representative in 1977. He had already done military service in 1973. From 1978 to 1982 he worked in construction and technology in commercial vehicle construction and from 1981 to 1983 attended the foremen's school for employed people. In 1983 he passed the master's examination for the craft of locksmith. In addition, between 1984 and 1985, Brugger obtained a management diploma for sales and rhetoric. Between 1982 and 1990 Brugger was employed as a department head in the automotive industry (CNC turning shop and construction as well as development), from 1991 he was works manager in the metal industry (drive technology and turning shop).

politics

Brugger joined the FPÖ in 1993 and a year later moved into the party's district leadership and became district manager. He was a member of the Tyrolean state party executive and represented the FPÖ between February 14, 2000 and December 19, 2002 in the National Council.

Private

Brugger is the father of five children.
