Bernd Gummelt (born December 21, 1963 in Neuruppin ) is a former German athlete who - starting for the GDR - was successful in walking in 1989/1990 . In 1990 he won the silver medal at the European Championships in 50 km walking in 3:56:33 h. In the 20 km walk of these European championships, he finished seventh in 1:24:33 h. In 1989 he was GDR champion in the 50 km walk in 3:53:36 h.
