Bernd Lühr

Bernd Lühr is a former German basketball player .

Life

Lühr played in 1970/71 with SV St. Georg in the basketball league , but rose with the team and then moved within the Hanseatic city of Hamburg to Hamburg TB . With the HTB he was represented in the Bundesliga from 1971. Lühr was used in the inside position. In April 1974 he was in the final of the DBB Cup with Hamburg . Lühr was together with Erhard Apeltauer (both 14 points) the best thrower of the HTB, but they lost the final clearly against TuS 04 Leverkusen (61:88). Professionally, the doctor of biology worked as a programmer.
