Bernd Leukert

Bernd Leukert (born 1967 ) is a member of the Management Board of Deutsche Bank AG , where he works as Chief Technology, Data and Innovation Officer .

Education and professional career

Leukert studied information technology at Trinity College Dublin and business administration at the University of Karlsruhe . His professional career began at SAP in 1994 . There he held various managerial positions in software development.

From 2005 to 2010 he was Senior Vice President , Head of Quality Governance and Production. In February 2011 Leukert became Executive Vice President SAP Applications Innovation. He held this position until May 2013, when he became Member of the Global Managing Board, Head of Application Innovation. In May 2014, Leukert became a member of the Executive Board of SAP until he moved to Deutsche Bank AG in September 2019, where he is CTO .

Leukert has been a member of the Management Board of Deutsche Bank AG since January 1, 2020.

Leukert plans to restructure the IT systems in order to reduce complexity.
