Bernd Ostmann

Bernd Ostmann (born April 13, 1951 ) is a German motor journalist and was editor-in-chief of auto motor und sport magazine from 1994 to 2012 .

Career

After studying engineering, Ostmann started working for auto motor und sport in 1976. He was promoted to deputy editor-in-chief in 1991 and finally to editor-in-chief of the magazine in 1994. After he rose to the position of general editorial manager of the automotive division at Motor Presse Stuttgart in 2011, he became the magazine's editor a year later.

From 1996 to 2001 he was also editor-in-chief of Motor Klassik .
