Bernd Kurt Günter Richter (born May 5, 1953 in Rotenburg (Wümme) ) is a Bremen politician ( FDP ) and was a member of the Bremen Parliament .

biography

education and profession

After graduating from secondary school, Richter did a commercial apprenticeship from 1968 to 1971. From 1971 to 1972 he completed his high school diploma on the second educational path . He then studied from 1972 to 1975 at the University of Economics in Bremen .

From 1972 to 1977 worked in investment management at Deutsche Bau und Boden GmbH in Bremen. From 1977 to 1980 he was employed as an assistant to the management at Bauatelier Nord in Bremen and from 1980 to 1989 as a project manager for urban redevelopment at Neue Heimat Niedersachsen . Since October 1989 managing director at Haus & Grund Bremen eV and Haus & Grund Bremen GmbH .

politics

Richter has been a member of the FDP since 1990 and is the chairman of the Eastern District Association for his party. From the election in 2007 to 2011 he was a member of the Bremen citizenship. For his parliamentary group he was represented there in the committees for information and communication technology and media affairs, for citizen participation and advisory board matters as well as in the GeoInformation works committee. He was also a member of the Deputation for Construction and Transport. For the FDP parliamentary group, he was spokesman for construction and transport, citizen participation and advisory boards as well as the media.
