Bernd Rosenberger (born July 22, 1947 ) is a former soccer goalkeeper who played two Bundesliga games for Werder Bremen.
Career
Before the 1972/73 season, Bernd Rosenberger moved from Bremen in 1860 to the amateur department of Werder Bremen , where he was praised for good performance. Due to the three-month suspension of Dieter Burdenski, who was involved in the Bundesliga scandal, he quickly moved up to number 2 behind Günter Bernard in the professional squad. On the 28th matchday the emergency occurred and Rosenberger came in front of 6,000 spectators against VfB Stuttgart for his first Bundesliga game. The game was lost 2-0. In the next game against Hamburger SV , Rosenberger was used again and conceded the first two goals in the first 10 minutes. Two more followed, so this game was lost with 1: 4. This should also have been Rosenberg's last appearance on the Bundesliga stage, because Rosenberger moved back to the Bremen regional league after this season.
