Bernhard Schelenz

Bernhard Schelenz (* 1963 in Mainz ) is a German communications consultant , author and managing partner of the communications consultancy for employers, Schelenz GmbH. He is counted among the founders of the communication models HR Brand, HR Touchpoint Management and Employer Reputation .

Life

After studying German and political science at the universities of Trier and Freiburg im Breisgau, Bernhard Schelenz was budget director at the meiré and meiré branding agency in Wiesbaden from 1992 to 1997. From 1998 to 2001 he worked as a unit manager in the advertising agency Haas & Partner in Mannheim. In 2001 he founded Schelenz GmbH, based in Großkarlbach in the Upper Palatinate . His work has received several awards, including a. with the Econ Award and the HR Excellence Award. He is a member of the Communication Association, the Society for German Language and the German Association of Trade Journalists . At the company headquarters he runs the Winzerhof Großkarlbach training center.

Bernhard Schelenz is the author and editor of several books on subjects of internal and external HR - communication , the employer branding and the employer brand . His approaches all shed light on the relationship between employers and employees or between applicants and recruiting - in each case under Wittgenstein's premises of the interaction of language and action. At the turn of the millennium, he was one of the first to equip HR management with concepts from linguistics and successfully implement them in communications consulting for human resource management . Further analysis models and recommendations for action were created in 2011 with the Kiel model for the analysis of career websites (KIMATEK) in cooperation with the University of Kiel, and in 2015 its candidate profiling model for semantic determination of characteristics and the identification of suitable candidates in recruiting. His work is recognized in the DA-CH area.
