Bernhard Siegenthaler took part in the 1920 Olympic Games in Antwerp in three disciplines. In the three-position fight with the free rifle, he missed a top placement in the individual competition with 906 points, but achieved bronze in the team competition. Siegenthaler was with 906 points the weakest shooter of the Swiss team, which consisted of Gustave Amoudruz , Ulrich Fahrner , Fritz Kuchen and Werner Schneeberger . He finished the team competition with the army revolver in ninth place.
