Ulrich Fahrner took part in the 1920 Olympic Games in Antwerp in three disciplines. In the three-position fight with the free rifle, he missed a top position in the individual competition with 925 points, but achieved bronze in the team competition. With 925 points, Fahrner was the fourth best shooter in the Swiss team, which also consisted of Gustave Amoudruz , Bernhard Siegenthaler , Fritz Kuchen and Werner Schneeberger .
