The Islote Pingüino ( Spanish for Penguin Island ) is a small Inselvor the Danco Coast of Graham lands north of the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located northeast of Lemaire Island on Gerlache Strait before the entrance to Andvord Bay .
Scientists of the 5th Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1950–1951) named it after the penguins that lived here .
