Bernhard Tenhumberg (born March 15, 1956 in Vreden ) is a German politician ( CDU ) and was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia .

Tenhumberg grew up as the eldest of seven children on a farm in the peasantry Gaxel the city Vreden on. After graduating from a university of applied sciences, he trained as a banker from 1972 to 1975. From 1977 to 1979 he worked as a clerk for banking statistics and from 1979 to 1985 as a loan officer. In 1985 he passed the bank business administration exam and in 1990 the final exam for banking business administration. Tenhumberg held the post of deputy credit department manager from 1985 to 1991 and then from 1991 to 1995 that of credit department manager and was authorized representative and coordinator of in-company training.

Bernhard Tenhumberg is an active shooter in his hometown of Vreden and was the shooter king of the city of Vreden from 2002 to 2004.

Tenhumberg has been married since 1979 and has two children.

politics

Tenhumberg was a member of the board of the Junge Union Vreden from 1972 to 1979 . Since March 1976 he has been a member of the CDU and held various party offices. Since 1984 he is a member of the city council of the city of Vreden and was there from 1994 to 2007 CDU parliamentary group. Tenhumberg is also active in the Christian Democratic workforce .

Since June 1, 1995, he has been a member of the North Rhine-Westphalian state parliament for the constituency of Borken II . He did not run for the 2017 state election.
