Bernhard Valke (* in the 14th century; † in the 15th century) was a canon in Münster .

Life

Bernhard Valke came from the Münsterland knightly family Valke, whose seat was the Falkenhof in Rheine . He was the son of Bernhard Valke zu Rockel (1335-1398) and his wife Wibbeke von Keppel (1350-1377). She was an heir, so that the Weersche family came into the possession of the Valke family. In 1429 he received a cathedral praise from Münster . It was owned by the Archdeaconate Eibergen and also administrator of the Chamber Office of Friesland . At the beginning of the 14th century, five parishes near Groningen had placed themselves under the protection of the Bishop of Münster, so that the Frisian areas belonged to the administrative area of ​​the diocese of Münster. His brother Johannes was canon in Münster from 1406 to 1433.
