Bernhard von Heiden

Bernhard von Heiden (* in the 16th century; † in the 17th century) was canon in Münster .

Life

Bernhard von Heiden was born as the son of Lutzo von Heiden and his wife Katharina von Westerholt in Lembeck and belonged to the Protestant faith. In 1570 he was emancipated as a canon and came into the possession of the Obedience of Averholthausen in November or December 1587 . On the Chapter Day on November 12, 1575, ten capitulars were Protestant; sixteen were Catholic . On December 11, 1589 he renounced in favor of Georg von Heiden . Bernhard von Westerholt took over his obedience on December 18, 1589. In 1606, Bernhard took possession of Gut Engelrading and married Kunigunde von Neuhof. The goods were sold in 1608.
