Bernhaupten

Bernhaupten is a district of the municipality of Bergen in the Upper Bavarian district of Traunstein .

history

Bergen train station

The church village was first mentioned as "Pernhupte" in the middle of the 12th century.

To the north of the village, the Bergen train station was built around 1865 . This traffic connection and the construction of the federal highway 8 led to the strong growth of Bernhaupten.
