Bernsrode

Bernsrode is a desert northwest of Roßla in Saxony-Anhalt . It lies between Rosperwenda and Dittichenrode .

history

Bernsrode was first mentioned as Bernardesroth on July 29, 961 , when King Otto II gave this place to the Moritz monastery in Magdeburg .
