Rosperwenda is a district of the municipality Berga (Kyffhäuser) in the district of Mansfeld-Südharz in Saxony-Anhalt .
location
Rosperwenda is located south of the Geiersberg ( 339.8 m above sea level ) and further foothills of the southern Harz and north of the federal motorway 38 at the beginning of the federal highway 85 at the Berga junction. The district of the place extends into the Helmeniederung .
history
The village was first mentioned on February 27, 1270. The local farmers have a share in the Siebengemeinde forest , which they received from Count zu Stolberg in 1604 for the rescue of his son. The places Berga, Bösenrode , Görsbach , Schwenda , Uftrungen , Thürungen and Rosperwenda manage this forest again today.
