Berrogüetto
Berrogüetto was a band founded in Vigo ( Galicia , Spain ) in 1995, which sought to combine traditional Galician folk music with current genres in their work . The band's repertoire consisted of traditional pieces and their own compositions. The debut album Navicularia led through the centuries-old musical tradition of Galicia, from medieval to contemporary sounds.
The band consisted of Anxo Pintos (gaita, hurdy-gurdy, flute), Guillermo Fernandez (guitar, midi guitar), Isaac Palacín (percussion), Kiko Comesaña (bouzouki, harp), Quim Fariña (violin), Santiago Cribeiro (accordion, piano ), Guadalupe Galego (vocals, gaita).
On February 4, 2014, the band announced the breakup on their website.
