Berthold Roithner

Berthold Roithner (born September 10, 1897 in Hörsching , † November 4, 1967 in Hautzendorf ) was an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ) and construction worker. From 1953 to 1962 he was a member of the National Council .

After elementary school, Roithner attended trade union training courses and learned the trade of scaffolding. He works as a construction worker and was politically active as the Vice Mayor of Unterpremstätten. Within the party, he also worked as a member of the local committee of the SPÖ Unterpremstätten, was parliamentary group chairman of the SPÖ in the Styrian regional health insurance fund and a member of the Styrian state executive of the Austrian Federation of Trade Unions . He also represented the SPÖ from March 18, 1953 to December 14, 1962 in the National Council.
