Bertram Denzel

Bertram Denzel (* 1969 in Freiburg im Breisgau ) is a German composer .

biography

Bertram Denzel grew up in France and Spain, among others. He has lived in Berlin since 1988, where he works as a DJ , musician for several bands and composer. After he wrote the music for several short films in the 1990s, he made his debut in 2000 with the music for Paul Is Dead with a feature film. Since then he has been responsible for the music of A Late Girl , Relationships , Sixteen Eights and a few crime scenes, among other things .

At the same time, Denzel also worked on various music projects. Together with Erik Huhn, he has been a member of the electronics duo Denzel + Huhn since 1999. He was also responsible for the animal sound installation in the desert house of the Schönbrunn Zoo ( Vienna ), which opened in 2003 . In 2004 he published the concept album Multilingual Tomatoes with the writer Tanja Dückers . With Denzel + Huhn he has released 4 albums so far.
