Bertram Kandziora

Bertram Kandziora (born February 14, 1956 in Jemielnica , Opole Voivodeship , Poland ) is a German manager. He has been Head of Production and Materials Management since 2002 and Chairman of the Board of STIHL AG since 2005 .

Life

After graduating as a graduate engineer at the University of Karlsruhe, Bertram Kandziora did his doctorate at the Institute for Computer Applications in Planning and Construction in the field of assembly automation. From 1988 to 2002 he worked for Robert Bosch GmbH , Scintilla AG and BSH Bosch und Siemens Hausgeräte GmbH. Most recently, he was responsible for the production of cookers and extractor hoods in 14 domestic and foreign plants as product area manager at BSH.

Bertram Kandziora has been Head of Production and Materials Management at Stihl since February 1, 2002 . After the family shareholders withdrew from the operative business in 2002, Kandziora took over on March 27, 2003, in addition to his role as board member, the office of board spokesman. In 2005 he was appointed Chairman of the Management Board on July 1. In 2011 and 2016, the current contract was extended for another five years from the following year.

In addition to his work at STIHL, he is a member of the supervisory board of WMF Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik AG and chairman of the industry committee of the Stuttgart Region Chamber of Commerce.
