The Vocational Training Center Panevėžys (lit. Panevėžio profesinio rengimo centras , Panevėžio PRC ) is a vocational school with general education and high school Department in the fifth largest Lithuanian city Panevezys . 1207 students (2014) are currently attending the school, which offers 15 vocational training courses. 182 employees work at the center (April 2013). The partner schools are in Limbaži (Latvia), Mäntsälä (Finland) and Gronowo in Poland .
history
In 1963 the Panevėžys Polytechnic School was founded. There the workers learned metalworking. In 1978 the agricultural school was founded. In 1983 the Panevėžys Construction Workers School was founded. Most of the graduates worked at the Panevėžio statybos trestas construction site . In 2000, today's Panevėžio profesinio rengimo centras education center was founded. In 2003 the legal form was changed to Viešoji įstaiga .
