Vocational high school (Rhineland-Palatinate)

In Rhineland-Palatinate there is the vocational school , previously called the technical college . It leads to the advanced technical college entrance qualification and requires completed vocational training.

There are three vocational schools : Dual Vocational School (former part-time technical college ), BOS I (former full-time technical school) and BOS II (objective: subject- specific higher education entrance qualification or high school diploma, depending on foreign language skills). The entrance requirement for the BOS II is the successful completion of the BOS I or the technical college examination of the higher vocational school including a subsequent internship.
