Elfriede Schüsseleder

Elfriede Schüsseleder (born November 9, 1951 in Waidhofen an der Ybbs ) is an Austrian actress .

Life

Elfriede Schüsseleder completed her acting training at the Krauss Acting School under the direction of Fritz Muliar in Vienna and was trained as a dental assistant at the same time. Engagements at the Lucerne Theater and in Herbert Wochinz's drama ensemble at the Klagenfurt City Theater followed.

She played there many big roles first- and world premieres, including the Eva in the German premiere of the tragedy of the people of Imre Madách and Katharina Blum in The Lost Honor of Katharina Blum , the Jeanne in the world premiere The machine of Julien Green , the Lula in Amiri Baraka's two-person play Dutchman , the Anke in Pavel Kohouts Eine kleine Blood feache u. v. a. Elfriede Schüsseleder was married to the Austrian actor Peter Ertelt (1932–1990), their son from this marriage is a musician.
