The constituency of Berwick-upon-Tweed in Northumberland
Berwick-upon-Tweed is a constituency for the British House of Commons . He sends a representative to parliament.
Limits
The constituency is entirely in Northumberland . The northernmost point is the eponymous city of Berwick-upon-Tweed . It extends south to the towns of Alnwick and Amble . In the east it is bounded by the coast.
MPs
Since its establishment by King Henry VIII in 1512, the constituency has sent delegates to parliament. At first there were two MPs, this was reduced to one MP in 1885.
