The Besenreepsee is a lake in the district of Düsterförde in the municipality of Godendorf in the Mecklenburg Lake District . The lake is located in a coniferous forest area on the federal highway 96 and the railway line from Neustrelitz to Fürstenberg / Havel . It has a north-south extension of about 200 meters and a west-east extension of about 430 meters.
