Beti is a Bantu language and is spoken by around 2 million people.

It is spoken by around 10% of the population of Cameroon and is a lingua franca . It is common in the provinces of Center , Sud and the districts of Lom-et-Djérem and Haut-Nyong in the province of Est .

Beti is written in the Latin script .
