Betty Morrissey (born September 14, 1907 in Brooklyn , New York City , † April 20, 1944 New York City) was an American actress .

Life

Betty Morrissey was best known for partnering with Charles Chaplin in the films The Nights of a Beautiful Woman (1923), Gold Rush (1925) and The Circus (1928). In 1931, Morrissey retired into private life.
