The Beuren tunnel in the Esslingen district in Baden-Württemberg is a 399 m long, single-tube road tunnel . The tunnel is part of the Beuren bypass in the course of the L 1210. Construction began in 2003 and the tunnel was released on February 25, 2005.
The client was the state of Baden-Württemberg. 200 m of the tunnel were built in the open and 199 m in the mining method. The total costs of the Beuren bypass measure (including the tunnel) amounted to around € 15 million.
