Beverage Partners Worldwide

Beverage Partners Worldwide (BPW) is a joint venture between Coca-Cola and Nestlé in the field of “ready-to-drink” green tea, black tea and coffee beverages. It was founded in 2001 and is the successor to the Coca-Cola and Nestlé Refreshments joint venture . BPW is the world market leader in this field. In 2007 the company had sales of USD 12 billion .

Nestlé brought the brands Nestea and Nescafé and the production facilities into the partnership, while Coca-Cola brought five smaller tea and coffee brands unknown in Europe and, above all, provided the distribution channels. The two companies are main competitors in other areas of business such as mineral water .
