The district hospital Ochsenhausen is a former hospital in Ochsenhausen , most recently sponsored by the clinical group Kliniken Landkreis Biberach . Today the district nursing home is located there, which is sponsored by St. Elisabeth gGmbH.

history

On October 15, 1895, the Ochsenhausen district hospital with 21 beds was put into operation (according to another source, 27 beds). It was described: “The men's department is set up on the ground floor, the women's department on the first floor, each with four sickrooms and a bathroom. The rooms are heated with sanitary stoves and most of the beds have electric bells ”.

As of October 1, 2005, the hospital had 50 beds. On December 31, 2011, the clinic in Ochsenhausen was closed.

The district nursing home and practices for gynecology , surgery, occupational therapy and physiotherapy were located in the premises of the district hospital in 2012 .
