Bhavanavasin

The Bhavanavasin is a Jain group of gods.

They inhabit the gem- shining Ratnarprabha , the uppermost region of the underworld ( Loka-Purusha ). They are the highest of four classes of gods:

  1. Bhavanavāsin
  2. Vyantara
  3. Jyotiṣka
  4. Vaimānika

The Bhavanavasin are divided into 10 subgroups:

Iconographically they are distinguished by body color and diadem features .
