Biancofiore

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Biancofiore was an electoral alliance in Italy , founded on September 14, 2000 by the two Christian Democratic parties

Both parties belonged to the right-wing electoral alliance Casa delle Libertà by Silvio Berlusconi and ran under the symbol Biancofiore in the 2001 parliamentary elections . In the proportional representation part of this election, Biancofiore received only 3.2% of the votes and thus remained below the 4% hurdle; only constituency candidates in the majority electoral part entered parliament.

On December 6, 2002, the two parties (together with the Democrazia Europea ) finally merged to form the new Unione dei Democratici Cristiani e Democratici di Centro (UDC).
