Bible Greek
Biblical Greek is or was used to denote the following koine- based variants of the Greek language :
- New Testament Greek , the language of the various writings of the New Testament (originated in the 1st and 2nd centuries)
- Until the 19th century the language of the Septuagint , the Greek translation of the Old Testament (originated around 250 BC to 100 AD)
