Biblioteca Colonial Portuguesa

The Biblioteca Colonial Portuguesa ( Portuguese Colonial Library ) is a series of Portuguese books published by the Divisão de Publicações e Biblioteca ( Publications and Library Department ) of the Agência Geral das Colónias ( Colonies General Agency ) . It contains important texts for understanding the history of the Portuguese colonial empire . The series has been published in Lisbon ( Lisboa ) since 1934, the year of the first Exposição Colonial Portuguesa ( Portuguese Colonial Exhibition ) in Porto . The following overview does not claim to be up-to-date or complete.
