Bibliotheca Graeca Medii Aevi

The Bibliotheca græca Medii Ævi ( Greek Μεσαιωνική βιβλιοθήκη Meseōnikí vivliothíki ) is a collection of Middle Greek writings published by Constantine Sathas in the 19th century. The first six volumes appeared between 1872 and 1877. A supplement with writings by anonymous authors appeared in 1894. They were printed in Venice , Athens and Paris .

The seven volumes contain important writings that Sathas found and compiled during his research in various Western European libraries. They contain writings by (1.) Michael Attaleiates , Niketas Choniates , Theodoros Metochites , Theodoros Potakios , (2.) Neophytos Enkleistos , Patriarch Germanos , Leontios Machairas , Georgios Voustronios , (3.) Kaisarios Dapontes , Sergios Makraios , Anastasios Gordios , Demetrios Prokopiou , Alexandros Tyrnavites , (4th, 5th) Michael Psellos , as well as other lists of martyrs, catalogs and mixed writings from Jerusalem, Cyprus and Crete (6th, 7th).
