Library magazine (journal)

The magazine library magazine . Messages from the State Libraries in Berlin and Munich are published jointly by the State Library in Berlin and the Bavarian State Library .

Originally published purely as a publication by the Berlin State Library - Prussian Cultural Heritage, it has been a joint project of the two largest German universal libraries since 2007 , providing information about their current projects, exhibitions and new developments and providing information from the respective collections and departments, new acquisitions and important holdings.

The magazine appears three times a year as a print edition free of charge . An online version can be accessed as a PDF file via the websites of the two libraries . An editorial team in Berlin and Munich is responsible for the contributions .
