The Biblical Garden Gospa Stomorija is a park on the southern slope of the Kozjak mountain above Kaštel Novi ( Dalmatia , Croatia).

The park was laid out around the small church of St. Mary of Špiljan (today: Holy Mother of Stomorje), which was built in 1189. Plants mentioned in the Bible have been growing there for decades. They were supplemented by other trees, aromatic and aromatic plants and sculptures by some important Croatian artists. In honor of Pope John Paul II, an olive tree was planted, which was blessed by the Pope himself.

A terrace-like area was built to the north of the church, on which a number of memorial stones were placed next to old olive trees in honor of Croatian artists and authors who were inspired in their work by the Bible, among others. a. Ivan Meštrović .

A small vineyard was laid out to the south as a memorial for the winegrowers. In addition to other native vines, the Kaštelaner Crljenak , which comes from Kaštela and is known worldwide as Zinfandel , was planted in it.

From the park there is a good view of Kaštela, Split and the islands in front of them.
