Biedenkopf Commission
Biedenkopf Commission is the abbreviation for the Government's statement of Chancellor Kurt Kiesinger December 13, 1966 announced, on 14 June 1967 adopted by the German Bundestag and was constituted on 24 January 1968 "Expert Commission for the evaluation of previous experience in participation (co-determination Commission ) ”Under the direction of Kurt Biedenkopf .

The substance of the recommendations presented by the Commission in its report in January 1970 was incorporated into the 1976 Codetermination Act . The recommendations included, in addition to "increasing the number of employee representatives on the supervisory board (...) while maintaining an, albeit small, numerical preponderance of shareholder representatives", as well as the statutory appointment of a board member for human resources ( labor director ).
