The Bielschowsky Society for Strabismus Research and Neuroophthalmology , named after the German ophthalmologist and strabologist Alfred Bielschowsky , is a medical society of doctors and scientists who research and treat strabismus , neuroophthalmological disorders such as eye paralysis and nystagmus , as well as their effects and sequelae such as amblyopia .
