The Bielsteinklippe is a rock formation in the Harz Mountains in Saxony-Anhalt .

The cliff , which has been developed as a vantage point, is located on the Bielstein mountain , on the north side of the Brauner Sumpf valley opposite the Astberg in the district of the town of Blankenburg (Harz) . It reaches a height of about 385  m . North of the cliff, the federal road 27 leads from Hüttenrode to Blankenburg. The goat head is located a little to the northeast . From the Herzogsweg in the north, a hiking trail leads to the Bielstein cliff.

The name may refer to the alleged Germanic god Biel , but whose actual historical veneration is controversial. There are suspicions that the Bielstein cliff served as a pagan cult site and, together with the goat's head, is related to other cult sites in the vicinity of Blankenburg.
