Beer warmer

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A beer warmer is a metallic object that can be used to temper a beer as desired.

The beer heater consists of a metal - cylinder , which is usually closed with a lid. At the upper end there is a hook with which the cylinder can be hung on the edge of the glass or jar .

Warm water is filled into the cylinder. The beer warmer is then hung in the beer glass or mug until the beer has reached the desired temperature. In a variant, a metal rod is heated in hot water and then inserted into the beer glass.
